Women’s Circles

Hallowed Tree Circle: a hallowed tree’s shape is not empty, it is a welcoming home and a nourishing shelter.

‘I am a woman with wings,’ I once wrote and will revise these words again. ‘I am a woman with wings dancing with other women with wings.’ In a voiced community, we all flourish ― Terry Tempest Williams

Women have been meeting in circle since the dawn of humanity. It is our birthright. It is part of our Womanhood. A Hallowed Tree is a women’s circle, a place to belong within a supportive and welcoming community. Together we will celebrate each other in all our many facets, and reclaim our Sistership. Our Circles will be the spark that carries your light to shine brighter in the world, unapologetically! (see dates below)

Circle by circle, we will show up more fully ourselves. To support and empower. To be held and inspired. To explore our own unique inner wisdom. Such is the beauty of being a woman, in constant transformation like a phoenix: fire and ash, dark and light, and all that’s in between.

We will hold space for each other and ourselves to feel seen and heard. This is a sacred and powerful way to gather and live inspired. We are not looking to fix or solve whatever is going on in our lives. But we will strip down social expectations and rules imposed on us that prevent us from living in our true colours as we bravely show up as we are. Know more about me here.

Who are these circles for?

This circle is for all who identify as women, looking to build community and connection, through love and joy, even, and especially, when you feel less love and less joy in life. This is for you, if you want to feel inspired and energised for life; if you want to feel held and, in turn, hold space for other women to explore inner wisdom and shine together.

What happens in a circle?

In our circles, expect to have moments of meditation and visualisation, moments of sharing from the heart and journaling, moments of nourishing silence and ritual, body movement, and moments of inspiration fuelled by nature and different forms of art: objects, poetry, and music, for example. Expect to gather honouring who we are individually and together.

Testimonials

“Hi Mafalda. Thank you for giving me the honour of joining the Women’s Circle. It is a safe space of peace and serenity where we can share our experiences good and challenging. I got more out of it than I believed possible and I am looking forward to next meeting. For anyone out there interested come on and join. Be brave. M”

“Hey Mafalda, thanks for hosting a great circle tonight. It’s great to be part of such a positive and empowering environment where there is so much support for each other. I am so definitely trying to get rid of so many things that no longer serve me both physical and otherwise and tonight really helped with the inner/outer cleanse that I am currently going through. I cannot thank you enough for helping me find my way back to my true self. J”

“I found the circle to be more than I expected; although I didn’t really know what to expect. I’m so grateful for the experience and I feel really drawn to return as soon as I can. Part of that is down to Mafalda as the facilitator because she has a lovely inclusive and welcoming energy and I felt put at ease and encouraged to share. Part is due to the lovely community sense that we shared and I think evenings like that are so rare in life.S”
